apctest

Apcupsd using SNMP

On the UPS enable SNMP and have a community (for example public) with read access.

In /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf:

UPSCABLE ether
UPSTYPE snmp
DEVICE 192.168.188.12:161:APC:public

After starting apcupsd check it with

apcaccess

(this can be run as non-root) This only works with

NETSERVER on
